Reveald is a Mobile ( React Native ) Dating App that leverages cryptocurrency to incentivize users and drive engagement. Users are rewarded with tokens for moderating community content, helping others choose a great profile photo, and completing a multistep user acquisition flow. Users can spend tokens within the application to unlock features or they have the option of exchanging them in a Marketplace for various Gift Cards.
I received an equity-free grant through a partnership with the KIN Foundation which helped fund the engineering cycles and the application was released on the Google Play Store in Oct 2018. For more details check out this Medium post.

HN Hired grabs the latest HN who's hiring post and presents everything with a searchable material ui experience. The app utilizes Next.js to run serverless via AWS Lambda. Both the client and server exist within a lambda function which eliminates any cross-origin resource retrieval restrictions. A manually curated list of trends are matched with a cursory regexp to give a loose ranking in the left sidebar.
Fuse.js provides very fast client fuzzy searching for anything in the comments.Google Material Design components enrich the presentation with autocomplete, search chips, and a simple responsive layout.
